Senior Industrial Engineer (Footwear Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Organize, plan, and execute industrial engineering work supporting lean manufacturing, footwear commercialization, engineering, and costing.
• Build and maintain data analysis frameworks and templates used across multiple groups.
• Drive consistent collection of labor and process data and analyze time and labor calculations for new and current footwear models.
• Standardize footwear documentation and manufacturing processes with Lean Manufacturing and Footwear Engineering teams.
• Identify and support projects and experiments that improve labor efficiency, workflow, equipment utilization, productivity, quality, throughput, and output.
• Develop team performance indicators and periodic reports for senior management while influencing factory and internal operational managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of equivalent professional experience, including 4+ years conducting industrial engineering activities in manufacturing.
• 3+ years of experience conducting time and measurement studies and participating in industrial engineering, optimization, or lean initiatives.
• Proven experience measuring and creating industrial engineering standards in manufacturing, with general assembly process knowledge.
• General knowledge of footwear manufacturing and excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Hai Phong, Vietnam and travel 20% domestically and internationally.
