Multinational Issuing Office Specialist (Insurance)

Location: Toronto, Canada; primarily in the office

Base salary: CAD 68,000–84,000 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus under the applicable incentive plan.

What you will do

• Manage service delivery, processing, and portfolio management for complex local policies and inbound multinational accounts.
• Act as the in-country regulatory and market-practice subject matter expert for multinational insurance programs.
• Advise producing offices, underwriters, product teams, and legal teams on local compliance, underwriting appetite, legislative changes, and market trends.
• Build effective servicing relationships with clients, brokers, producing offices, shared services, finance, claims, and other program participants.
• Support complex risk transfer and non-conventional insurance program deal architecture, renewals, and escalated issue resolution.
• Train issuing office and shared services staff and contribute to process, system, and service-delivery improvements.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of insurance experience, preferably in client servicing at a broker or insurance company.
• Experience with large captive programs, multinational corporations, non-conventional insurance programs, or captive reinsurance.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and market practices in the local market.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, analytical, customer service, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Experience working with senior client personnel, risk managers, board-level representatives, senior colleagues, and executive management.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously.
