Maintenance Supervisor - 3rd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Avon Plant, Avon, New York, United States. Full-time onsite role on the 3rd shift, 5PM–2AM, Sunday–Thursday; flexible scheduling may include days, afternoons, midnights, and weekends.

New hire base salary: $77,800–$97,300 per year, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Direct maintenance personnel and coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance to support production schedules, quality, safety, and cost targets.
• Improve equipment reliability and processing methods by analyzing downtime, diagnosing malfunctions, and implementing equipment modifications.
• Manage maintenance logs, maintenance management systems, spare-parts inventory, departmental budgets, and operational standards.
• Oversee maintenance and repairs for electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, packaging, utility, boiler, and ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Lead maintenance training, safety activities, QRMP audits, corrective actions, and process-improvement initiatives using Six Sigma, Lean, and KHMS.
• Support employee performance and development while coordinating with plant leadership, engineering, HR, contractors, suppliers, consultants, and vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field is strongly preferred.
• 1–5 years of related leadership experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Familiarity with maintenance management system operations and direct and overhead cost systems.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, afternoons, midnights, and weekends.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and utility systems; boiler and ammonia refrigeration knowledge is advantageous.
• Experience with Allen Bradley PLC troubleshooting and programming and TPM systems is advantageous.
