Application Engineer, Korea/Taiwan - Oil Free Centrifugal (OFC) Solutions (HVACR)

What you will do

• Provide application and technical support for oil-free centrifugal compressors and integrated solutions to OEMs, wholesalers, end users, customers, and field personnel.
• Conduct compressor selections, support system designs, and provide commissioning assistance involving controllers, inverters, and line components.
• Visit customer sites to review systems, diagnose problems, and prevent product misapplications.
• Analyze product and system performance data and recommend improvements that reduce costs or improve performance.
• Prepare training materials and conduct technical seminars on product application, installation, and new products.
• Support customer R&D projects, project sales, new business development, upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and cross-country applications support.

Requirements

• University degree in refrigeration, HVAC, electronic control systems, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
• Five years of experience in oil-free centrifugal performance testing, compressors, chillers, or the air-conditioning industry.
• Hands-on technical knowledge of oil-free centrifugal compressors, including control algorithms, system design, inverter drivers, controllers, electrical systems, and troubleshooting.
• Good written and oral Korean is required.
• Strong technical, communication, customer-service, planning, organizing, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Solid MS Office, spreadsheet, internet, email, and Windows skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
