TL;DR
Remote Healthcare Compliance Analyst (Healthcare Compliance): Supporting a risk-based healthcare compliance program through risk register maintenance, corrective action tracking, auditing, investigations, and governance reporting with an accent on healthcare regulations, privacy, reimbursement standards, and internal controls. Focus on analyzing findings and trends, validating corrective actions, building compliance dashboards, and translating complex information into clear recommendations for leadership.

Location: Remote; must currently reside in Texas. Supports Texas Oncology locations and may require up to 20% travel throughout the state.

Texas Oncology is a large community oncology provider delivering evidence-based cancer care across Texas and southeastern Oklahoma.

What you will do

  • Maintain the compliance risk register, track mitigation activities, and prepare risk summaries for leadership and committees.
  • Administer corrective action plans by tracking assignments, deadlines, evidence, escalation items, closure, and effectiveness validation.
  • Support the compliance work plan, including monitoring, auditing, education, policy, follow-up activities, and governance reporting.
  • Assist with risk-based audits, monitoring activities, investigations, root-cause analysis, trend identification, and written recommendations.
  • Develop dashboards, trackers, reports, and audit-ready records while supporting Compliance Committee materials and leadership forums.
  • Contribute to policy development, compliance training, process improvement, and special projects.

Requirements

  • Current residence in Texas is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare compliance, internal audit, revenue integrity, privacy, or related healthcare operations oversight.
  • Experience with work plan development, auditing and monitoring, corrective action planning, investigations, policy development, training, and governance support.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare compliance, privacy, reimbursement, documentation standards, and federal and state regulatory expectations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint, plus strong analytical, organizational, written communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a physician group or oncology environment.
  • Strong auditing or internal audit experience.
  • Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC).
