Compliance Manager - Louisiana (Healthcare)

Location: Remote/WFH within Louisiana; candidates must reside in Louisiana. Listed location: Shreveport, Louisiana 71106.

Salary: $77,785–$124,455 annually, with eligibility for short-term incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.

What you will do

• Manage compliance and privacy activities for assigned business areas or strategic business units.
• Implement and support corporate and business-unit compliance programs, including HIPAA compliance.
• Direct federal and state regulatory activities and prepare for internal, customer, and government audits.
• Customize policies to meet state regulatory standards and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with Internal Audit and the Special Investigations Unit on fraud, waste, and abuse monitoring.
• Track compliance deficiencies, implement corrective actions, and report status to relevant quality and compliance committees.

Requirements

• Residence in Louisiana is required for this remote position.
• 5–8 years of compliance-related experience.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and federal and state regulatory processes.
• Bachelor’s degree; a combination of education and work experience may be considered.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, project management, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, flowcharting, and relevant software systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with Medicare Advantage or Medicaid managed care.
• Healthcare experience.
