What you will do

  • Manage the design and logistics of load boards, probe cards, test sockets, and change kits from definition and RFQ through design review, approval, NPI, and production release.
  • Review ATE hardware request forms, schematics, layouts, and BOMs for compliance.
  • Support first-article builds, hardware debugging, and correlation activities.
  • Maintain test-team inventory and track ATE hardware status, vendor shipments, and deliveries.
  • Serve as the technical, commercial, and operational contact for hardware vendors and own the vendor tier strategy.
  • Interface with ATE Test Engineering on PCB design and provide technical direction for production solutions using ATE systems and handlers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Automated Test Systems (ATE).
  • Proficiency with ATE analog and digital instruments.
  • Knowledge of PCB layout parasitic reduction.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting experience.
  • Regular full-time employment in Austin, Texas; remote work is not available.
