Director, Product Management (Payments)

Location: Foster City, California, United States; hybrid schedule with at least 3 days in the office required

What you will do

• Define and execute the strategy and roadmap for developer tools, platform services, and ecosystem integration capabilities across the Client Platforms portfolio.
• Establish product integration architecture and improve interoperability between platforms, services, and client-facing solutions.
• Lead the vision for advanced testing and simulation capabilities, including stateful sandbox environments and end-to-end test scenarios.
• Simplify client onboarding by connecting processes, tools, and services into cohesive journeys.
• Lead client migration and platform adoption initiatives, including migration strategies, success metrics, and governance models.
• Advise product, engineering, architecture, operations, and client-facing teams while building and developing a high-performing product management organization.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of work experience with a bachelor's degree, 8 years with an advanced degree, or 3 years with a PhD.
• Senior product management experience in digital products, payments, and financial services.
• Experience defining product vision and strategy, conducting customer discovery, executing products, and managing product goals.
• Experience with Agile frameworks, matrixed organizations, complex cross-enterprise projects, and process management.
• Experience recruiting, developing, retaining, and leading technical talent and diverse teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, commercial, forecasting, negotiation, and vendor-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with process or core banking best practices.
• Experience launching and managing digital products for issuers and managing large card portfolios.
• Experience leading engagement, UX, and UI transformation initiatives.
