Location: Austin, Texas — daily reporting to the Division/Corporate Office or assigned community

What you will do
- Lead vertical construction for assigned rental units and community amenity structures from start to finish.
- Develop and manage construction schedules, resource allocation, recovery strategies, material payments, and cost controls.
- Coordinate subcontractors, BTR corporate and division leadership, property management, and the Land Department.
- Enforce quality, safety, compliance, scheduling, and site-organization standards while targeting at least one unit start per day.
- Use technology to report construction progress and coordinate unit turnover and quality-control walks.
- Manage post-completion warranty requests, trade scheduling, corrective actions, and quality assurance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and at least four years of construction experience; experience with a production builder is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of new home construction, scheduling, cost control, construction documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
- Leadership, communication, organization, customer service, reliability, integrity, flexibility, and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and general computer skills.
- Ability to report daily to the assigned office, corporate office, or community and meet onsite physical demands.
