General Superintendent, Concrete

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States; full-time on-site role

What you will do

• Oversee field activities, resource usage, logistics, coordination, and procedures across assigned project sites.
• Supervise, mentor, train, and evaluate field personnel while coordinating hiring, workforce planning, and job assignments.
• Manage subcontractors, trade partners, unions, city departments, and other stakeholders to resolve complex field issues.
• Develop and implement jobsite safety plans and quality standards, ensuring compliance with company standards, contracts, OSHA laws, and building codes.
• Support preconstruction, estimating, constructability reviews, scheduling, procurement, budgeting, mobilization, project operations, and closeout.
• Monitor labor productivity, costs, purchasing, schedules, project progress, and profitability, and report status to leadership.

Requirements

• Engineering, construction management, or architecture degree, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 8 years of field construction experience, including supervisory experience.
• Experience leading field operations and supervising multiple projects across a large geographic area.
• Working knowledge of construction trades and the ability to read and understand trade specifications.
• Strong leadership, coaching, negotiation, communication, organization, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of contract law, project accounting, scheduling, cost control, procurement, estimating, trade partner management, OSHA laws, building codes, and building systems.
