What you will do

• Supervise interior construction projects from planning through completion, close-out, and owner acceptance.
• Recruit, organize, train, direct, and coordinate field construction teams and subcontractors.
• Maintain CPM schedules and coordinate planning, materials, tools, expediting, and cost control.
• Enforce safety procedures, participate in safety training, and verify subcontractor insurance certificates.
• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals while setting and monitoring quality standards.
• Lead subcontractor meetings, coordinate start-up testing, complete punch lists, and prepare project reports.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience including four years as an Assistant Superintendent.
• Extensive field construction experience at a supervisory level.
• Current Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification, or ability to obtain it within six months of hire and maintain active certification.
• Working knowledge of construction trades and specifications, with prior experience as a foreman or journeyman in at least one trade, or as a project engineer.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws, scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control.
• Strong problem-solving ability and sense of urgency; ability to travel and supervise multiple projects across a large geographic area.
