What you will do

• Supervise construction projects and coordinate field construction teams, subcontractors, and direct-hire work.
• Enforce safety procedures, participate in safety training, and verify subcontractor insurance certificates.
• Prepare and maintain critical path method (CPM) schedules, coordinate materials and tools, and support planning and cost control.
• Review drawings, specifications, and subcontractor submittals while maintaining quality standards and completing punch lists.
• Prepare project reports, chair or attend subcontractor meetings, and develop strong working relationships with owners and architects.
• Manage start-up testing, owner turnover, final close-out, and owner acceptance.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience including four years as an Assistant Superintendent.
• Extensive supervisory field construction experience and knowledge of all major construction trades.
• Prior experience as a foreman, journeyman in at least one trade, or project engineer.
• Current Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification, or the ability to obtain it within six months of hire and maintain active certification.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws, job scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control.
• Strong problem-solving ability and sense of urgency; ability to travel and supervise multiple projects across a large geographic area.
