Construction projects are delivered from field supervision through successful completion and owner acceptance.

What you will do

• Supervise construction projects and coordinate field teams, subcontractors, and direct-hire work.
• Enforce safety procedures, participate in safety training, and maintain compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain CPM schedules, plan material and tool supply, and support cost control.
• Set quality-control standards, review drawings and specifications, and manage subcontractor submittals.
• Prepare project reports, approve invoices, coordinate meetings, and complete punchlists.
• Lead start-up testing, owner turnover, final close-out, and acceptance activities.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience including four years as an Assistant Superintendent.
• Extensive field construction experience at a supervisory level.
• Current Safety Trained Supervisor certification, or ability to obtain it within six months of hire and maintain active certification.
• Working knowledge of construction crafts and specifications, with prior experience as a foreman, journeyman, or project engineer.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws, scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control.
• Strong problem-solving ability and sense of urgency; ability to travel and supervise multiple projects across a large geographic area.
