Superintendent - Special Projects

Location: Austin, TX; full-time, on-site construction supervision

hirify.global is hiring for a construction supervision role focused on successful project completion.

What you will do

• Supervise construction projects and coordinate field teams, subcontractors, and direct-hire work.
• Enforce safety procedures, participate in safety training, and maintain compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain CPM schedules, plan material and tool allocation, and support cost control.
• Review drawings, specifications, and subcontractor submittals while maintaining quality standards.
• Prepare project reports, verify subcontractor insurance certificates, and coordinate meetings with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
• Manage start-up testing, punchlists, close-out documentation, and turnover to the owner.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience including four years as an Assistant Superintendent.
• Extensive field construction experience at a supervisory level.
• Current Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification, or ability to obtain it within six months of hire and maintain active certification.
• Working knowledge of construction trades and specifications, with prior experience as a foreman, journeyman, or project engineer.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws, job scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control.
• Ability to travel as required and supervise multiple projects across a large geographic area.
