Senior Tender & Contracting Specialist (MedTech)

Location: Hybrid role based in the Netherlands, with posting locations including Amersfoort, Amsterdam, Breda, Leiden, and Utrecht.

Salary: €64,000–€103,040 base pay annually, plus an annual bonus or sales commissions.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate the end-to-end tender, quotation, pricing, and customer contracting lifecycle.
• Develop compliant, commercially competitive proposals and support offer development, discount analysis, contract implementation, and price activation.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and healthcare stakeholders.
• Advise commercial leaders and account teams on customer strategies, complex negotiations, risks, opportunities, and business performance.
• Analyze tender outcomes, contract performance, and market dynamics to identify growth and optimization opportunities.
• Drive process simplification, digitalization, automation, continuous improvement, and compliance across Commercial Operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Economics, Healthcare, Supply Chain, Law, Procurement, or a related field.
• Fluent Dutch and English at C2 level, both written and spoken.
• Relevant experience in tender management, bid or proposal management, contract management, commercial operations, commercial excellence, procurement, or a related function.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, influencing, organizational, and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with business systems, reports, and structured data.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities accurately and effectively under pressure.

Nice to have

• Experience in MedTech, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or another regulated industry.
• Knowledge of Dutch healthcare procurement, tendering, contracting, or commercial compliance processes.
• Experience with Power BI, SAP, Salesforce, CRM, CPQ, automation, or operational excellence programs.
