Experienced Electrical Mechanical Technician (Nights 5:45pm-6:15am)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; onsite night shift from 5:45pm to 6:15am

Salary: $34.45–$38.70 per hour plus a $2.00 shift differential

What you will do

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical infrastructure, production equipment, power systems, and industrial controls.
• Run conduit and piping, pull wire, complete terminations, and repair single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
• Calibrate and set up instrumentation devices and transmitters.
• Use PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo controllers, schematics, blueprints, and P&IDs to diagnose equipment issues.
• Execute planned and unplanned maintenance, document findings in the CMMS, and resolve equipment breakdowns.
• Apply root cause analysis, breakdown failure analysis, cause mapping, and predictive maintenance technologies to prevent recurring failures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility; food and beverage experience is preferred.
• Experience using electrical diagnostic tools such as Fluke multimeters, ohmmeters, and meggers.
• Ability to interpret technical documents, electrical and mechanical schematics, single-line drawings, pneumatics, hydraulics, and P&IDs.
• Valid driver's license and forklift certification, or the ability to obtain forklift and aerial lift certifications.
• Ability to work safely in an industrial environment, including lockout/tagout, arc-flash procedures, hot-work permits, confined-space procedures, PPE, and OSHA requirements.

Nice to have

• Some college or formal technical school education in electrical maintenance.
• Four or more years of experience as an industrial maintenance electrician.
• Experience with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, and chiller applications.
