AI Solution Architect and Developer Senior Manager (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Houston, Texas, with in-person work at hirify.global offices and client sites; local or out-of-state travel may be required. hirify.global is not registered to hire or employ personnel in Alaska or West Virginia.

Salary: $149,000–$239,000 annually, plus a 14% bonus target. Estimated total cash range: $169,860–$272,460 annually.

What you will do

• Create, demonstrate, and continuously iterate AI-enabled prototypes and application starters for real-world business problems.
• Lead the design and development of end-to-end AI solutions using cloud platforms and machine learning technologies.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and collaborate with stakeholders, data scientists, and engineers on production implementation.
• Apply security and privacy controls, including data masking, anonymization, encryption, identity and access management, authentication, and secure data pipelines.
• Establish AI governance practices covering ethical use, transparency, risk management, auditability, and responsible AI.
• Lead, mentor, coach, and review the work of delivery teams while building relationships with senior executives and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience designing and deploying technology projects involving advanced analytics or machine learning models.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience experimenting with, prototyping, solutioning, and deploying generative AI technologies.
• Experience with cloud services and infrastructure such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud, and programming for AI development with Python.
• Experience implementing security and privacy controls and documenting security-relevant designs, data flows, and privacy considerations.
• Experience working in the energy sector and leading or supervising teams.

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect.
• Familiarity with cloud-based AI technologies and platforms.
