Procurement Executive (Supply Chain)

Location: Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle, including sourcing, quotation evaluation, negotiation and purchase order issuance.
• Source chemicals, consumables, operational tools, mechanical items and subcontractor or casual worker services.
• Evaluate, benchmark and periodically review suppliers based on pricing, quality, service and delivery performance.
• Negotiate commercial terms and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings and business value.
• Process a high volume of purchase orders, maintain accurate documentation and monitor order progress.
• Resolve supply issues, prepare procurement and spend reports, and identify process improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement or a related field.
• 1–3 years of procurement experience, including sourcing, supplier management and negotiation.
• Ability to handle high-volume purchase order processing and multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent English is required; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
