Sr Procurement Specialist (Semiconductor)

Location: Bayan Lepas, Malaysia; onsite with no remote work available

What you will do

• Source direct, secondary, and packing materials for semiconductor development and production.
• Manage RFQ/RFP processes and evaluate supplier quotations, costs, and commercial terms.
• Negotiate pricing, agreements, and other supplier conditions.
• Engage suppliers early to support new product introduction builds.
• Issue purchase orders, monitor on-time delivery, and resolve supply issues.
• Support supplier audits and performance evaluations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, industrial studies, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in semiconductor operations or manufacturing.
• Proven experience in sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management.
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating costs, supplier performance, and commercial terms.
• Good communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting NPI programs or advanced packaging.
• Familiarity with semiconductor direct, indirect, and packing materials.
• Exposure to supplier audits and quality systems.
