Buyer (B2) (Manufacturing)

Location: Penang, Malaysia. Relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Purchase materials, supplies, machinery, and services for manufacturing facilities.
• Follow up on orders, verify deliveries, approve payments, and maintain purchasing records.
• Coordinate supplier shipments and resolve receiving, billing, and delivery issues.
• Manage demand and supply collaboration, including pull-ins and push-outs against MRP requirements.
• Drive inventory and E&Z reduction initiatives.
• Negotiate purchases and execute RFQs while balancing cost, quality, source reliability, and urgency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Understanding of key business drivers in the industry.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for explaining complex information.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
