Limited Maintenance Electrician (Manufacturing)

Location: A current Limited Maintenance Electrician license issued by the State of Washington is required

Starting rate: $44.85 per hour

Manufactures and distributes branded bakery products through bakeries, sales centers, offices, and sales routes across the United States.

What you will do

• Repair and maintain processing machinery and facility support equipment across the plant.
• Support the preventive maintenance program and reduce unscheduled downtime.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, electrical distribution, motors, instrumentation, feed control systems, and mechanical systems.
• Inspect, operate, and test equipment to diagnose malfunctions and validate repairs.
• Complete work orders, maintain maintenance records and parts inventories, and communicate status across departments.
• Support equipment changeovers, line startups, continuous improvement initiatives, and team projects.

Requirements

• Current Limited Maintenance Electrician license issued by the State of Washington.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems up to 480V, three-phase, and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and manuals in English.
• Experience maintaining automated manufacturing equipment using electro-mechanical, multi-craft, or multi-skilled maintenance practices.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting experience with gearboxes, conveyors, sprockets, chains, belts, clutches, and brakes.
• Ability to work independently and in teams, including assigned shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift 50–70 pounds, stand for more than eight hours, climb ladders and stairways, and work at elevated heights with appropriate safety equipment.

Nice to have

• Food plant experience.
• Experience with Allen Bradley and Square D PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, servos, compressed air systems, boilers, and hydraulics.
• Experience with welders, drill presses, power tools, hand tools, sensors, contactors, motors, starters, and transformers.
