Painter - 2nd Shift (Powder Coating)

Location: Anoka, Minnesota, United States; onsite, Monday–Friday, 2:15 PM–10:45 PM

Compensation: $14.80–$27.50 per hour

What you will do

• Set up and operate manual and automatic powder-coating and finishing equipment.
• Hang materials on conveyors, unload painted components, and stack completed work for the next production department.
• Select colors, apply powder according to production specifications, and complete touch-ups, sanding, and tacking as needed.
• Inspect finished components for complete paint coverage and compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain equipment, powder supplies, ihirify.globalory records, production documentation, and a clean, safe work area.
• Participate in lean improvement activities focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and waste reduction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Powder-coat painting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to use material-handling equipment such as pallet jacks, lift tables, and wheeled carts.
• Ability to use hand tools, measurement tools, fixtures, computers, and required safety equipment.
• Ability to adapt to changing business conditions and work to production schedules.
