Powder Coat Painter I

Location: Redmond, Oregon, United States; onsite at a manufacturing warehouse facility

Salary: $17.28–$25.91 per hour

What you will do

• Inspect incoming parts and completed powder-coated components.
• Rack or hang metal parts of different shapes and sizes for coating.
• Set up and operate coating equipment, adjusting paint paths and application thickness.
• Apply powder coating in various colors while maintaining product quality.
• Wrap completed parts when necessary and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance on paint booths, spray guns, lines, and related equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, punctuality, and ability to work safely.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision and contribute in a teamwork environment.
• Dependable transportation.
• Powder painting or hand-spray experience is preferred but not required.
