TL;DR

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers is a Colorado cancer care network operating four radiation oncology centers across the Denver/Boulder area.

What you will do

  • Develop, generate, and evaluate radiation therapy treatment plans in collaboration with radiation oncologists and medical physicists.
  • Plan 2D, 3D, IMRT, VMAT, and SBRT treatments on Novalis TX linear accelerators.
  • Use Varian Eclipse 16.1.5, Aria, MIM, and Radformation tools, including ClearCheck, ClearCalc, AutoContour, and EZfluence.
  • Analyze registered imaging, delineate anatomy, and identify target and critical structures.
  • Design or coordinate compensators, custom shields, beam modifiers, molds, casts, and immobilization devices.
  • Communicate treatment plan details to physicians and therapists, document quality assurance activities, and coordinate work across radiation oncology sites.

Requirements

  • Current, valid Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) certification from the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board.
  • Experience with radiation treatment planning and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational, communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a clinic environment with patient contact and potential exposure to ionizing radiation and other clinical hazards.
  • Ability to pass a background check and non-federal drug test after receiving an offer and before hire.
