Radiation Therapist (Oncology)

Location: Tigard, Oregon — West Cancer Center

Salary: $45.66–$73.28 per hour; $10,000 sign-on bonus, terms apply.

What you will do

• Administer and accurately record radiation therapy treatments under the direction of radiation oncologists and the chief radiation therapist.
• Position radiation beams accurately and deliver prescribed doses to designated tumor volumes.
• Enter and maintain patient treatment parameters in the electronic medical record.
• Interpret computerized treatment plans and complete simple MU calculations.
• Create custom molds and cut treatment blocks when applicable.
• Support appointment scheduling, billing information, clinical instruction, and a clean, safe treatment environment.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy.
• Valid Oregon state license for radiation therapy.
• One to three years of clinical experience preferred; motivated new graduates may apply.
• Ability to handle and lift patients, stand and walk for extended periods, and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
• Regular presence at the employee site during scheduled business hours and in-person interaction are required.
