Location: Boston, Massachusetts; hybrid schedule with 2–3 days onsite per week

What you will do

  • Coordinate day-to-day clinical radiation therapy physics activities across Boston and Weymouth.
  • Guide physicists and dosimetrists, participate in clinical committees, and support operational improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate physics support for simulations, image processing, treatment planning, treatment delivery, and patient safety.
  • Develop quality management, quality assurance, dosimetric verification, radiation protection, and treatment protocols.
  • Lead the acquisition, installation, and commissioning of treatment machines and treatment planning systems.
  • Teach residents, fellows, students, and junior physics staff while contributing to radiation oncology research and development.

Requirements

  • PhD in Medical Physics or a directly related field, obtained within the last seven years.
  • At least three years of clinical experience in radiation oncology physics after completing the terminal PhD.
  • American Board of Radiology certification or ABR eligibility.
  • Ability to support clinical physics operations, treatment safety, quality programs, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to work onsite in Boston 2–3 days per week is required.
