Process Engineer (Membrane Systems)

What you will do

• Evaluate, design, and support membrane process gas applications, with a focus on biogas upgrading.
• Use Aspen heat and material balance simulations to support safe and efficient membrane product applications.
• Assess customer inquiries, determine membrane product fit, troubleshoot system performance, and support warranty investigations.
• Support P&ID development, operability reviews, hazard reviews, and on-site customer service.
• Participate in and lead research and development programs for new applications and products.
• Conduct product performance tests and contribute to product specifications and improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 3+ years of process engineering experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Customer-facing interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently at customer sites.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, typically around 10% annually.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Nice to have

• Membrane process design experience.
• Experience with membrane systems or gas processing equipment in biogas, natural gas, or petrochemical industries.
