2027 Internship - Supplier Technical Engineer (Supply Chain)

Location: San Diego, California; onsite five days per week. Relocation assistance is available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $26.00–$43.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Support quality problem resolution and root cause analysis for assigned purchase parts and processes.
• Review designs and coordinate technical activities with suppliers.
• Track metrics and support process improvement and cost recovery efforts.
• Participate in cross-functional projects using Six Sigma and Lean principles.
• Assist with supplier selection and qualification.
• Complete an individual project and present the results to senior supply chain leaders and business partners.

Requirements

• Currently attending a four-year accredited university or college.
• Preferred fields of study include engineering and supply chain.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
• Ability to work onsite in San Diego five days per week.

Nice to have

• Previous supply chain internship or work experience.
• Strong initiative, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership involvement in student associations.
• Competence in data analytics.
