Supply Chain/Inventory Management Intern (Supply Chain)

Location: CORP - Northbrook, IL, United States; 10-week summer program in a Chicagoland corporate office from early June through mid-August 2027

Salary: $23.25–$33.75 hourly

What you will do

• Work with senior managers on supply chain process improvement and business system projects.
• Analyze supply and demand planning, inventory deployment strategies, stocking policies, service levels, inventory targets, and expenses.
• Extract, analyze, and report data to support operational decisions.
• Evaluate warehouse network changes and automate vendor lead-time review and maintenance procedures.
• Build forecasts and production schedules, simulate stocking strategies, and recommend lower-cost options.
• Investigate backorders and surplus products, optimize inventory balancing, and develop reports to identify outliers and potential issues.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Engineering, preferably Industrial Engineering.
• Junior standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, organization, communication, data analysis, and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Unrestricted permanent US work authorization required.

Nice to have

• Project management experience.
• Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience, including Six Sigma, PMP, or CPIM.
• Knowledge of Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, TDV, KNIME, SAP, or Business Objects.
