Zonal Claims Executive (Insurance)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; primarily office-based

Base salary: $125,000–$166,000 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus under the applicable incentive plan.

What you will do

• Resolve significant and complex claims issues escalated to zone management across all lines of business.
• Lead and manage zonal Claims Account Managers and Client Service Managers.
• Strengthen relationships with brokers and clients through Claims Advisory Boards.
• Participate in the Zone Executive Committee and represent the claims function in zone strategy discussions.
• Provide clients and brokers with access to claims senior management and local claims resolution.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of commercial claims and insurance litigation.
• Proven technical claims expertise and ability to address complex technical problems.
• Strong rational decision-making skills and ability to work with colleagues at all levels.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Juris Doctor degree.
