Senior Scheduler (Construction)

What you will do

• Develop, update, validate, and maintain preconstruction, baseline, proposal, month-end, recovery, and acceleration schedules.
• Support project teams with schedule management, schedule updates, activity coding, cost loading, resource loading, and Primavera P6 database administration.
• Analyze labor productivity, financial, scheduling, and project health metrics, including BI analytics and KPIs.
• Prepare forensic schedule analyses, delay and disruption assessments, acceleration damages, and claims support for mediation and settlement negotiations.
• Develop scheduling procedures and best practices, conduct training, and support the development of schedulers and assistant schedulers.
• Collaborate with Estimating, VDC, Safety, Quality, project teams, and division management; travel locally within divisions as required.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of construction experience, including 5+ years in scheduling and at least 2 years in construction claims and negotiations.
• Experience with construction Critical Path Method scheduling, productivity claims, construction methods, contracts, notice requirements, plans, and specifications.
• Knowledge of financial and cost management systems, construction cost accounting, project financial projections, and job cost information.
• Expert proficiency in Primavera P6 Professional, Microsoft Suite, and Bluebeam; working knowledge of virtual construction technology systems.
• Ability to work in Austin, Texas, and travel locally within divisions.
