TL;DR
Precision Machinist (CNC Machining/Manufacturing): Setting up and operating CNC lathes, mills, VTLs, and mill-turn machines while loading programs, making minor program changes, and inspecting machined parts with precision measuring equipment. Focus on improving machining processes, managing cutting tools and offsets, interpreting engineering drawings, and maintaining quality in a production environment.
Location: Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, United States; onsite machining role with first-, second-, and weekend shift options.
Salary: $32–$38 per hour average pay range; listed summary pay range is $30.75–$46.13 per hour. Second shift includes a $3/hour differential, and SWW shift includes a $2/hour differential.

What you will do
- Set up and tear down CNC lathes, mills, VTLs, and mill-turn machines, including jaws, fixtures, and tooling.
- Download machining programs, make minor program changes, and adjust offsets to improve processes.
- Load and unload parts and monitor cutting tools, inserts, and tooling condition.
- Inspect in-process and finished products using calipers, micrometers, Pi tapes, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
- Use hand tools, pallet jacks, and jib cranes while keeping the immediate work area clean and orderly.
Requirements
- Extensive machining experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with horizontal or vertical lathes, mills, or mill-turn machines.
- Ability to make minor program changes and determine when cutting tools should be changed or indexed.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, shop routing, and process drawings.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments and apply mathematics with minimal trigonometry.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with 5-axis machining.
- Technical degree or certification.
- Previous tool design experience.
- Experience programming and operating high-accuracy measurement or instrumentation systems.
Culture & Benefits
- First shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM.
- Second shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM; daily and weekend overtime may be available.
- SWW shift: Friday–Sunday, 4:00 AM–4:30 PM.
