NOC Engineer (AWS)

Location: Hyderabad, India; hybrid workplace. The role requires 24x7 rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

What you will do

• Monitor platform health using Grafana IRM, CloudWatch, Sumo Logic, Splunk, and PagerDuty, responding to alerts within SLA.
• Manage AWS infrastructure including EC2, Auto Scaling Groups, EBS, ELB, Lambda, VPC, Route 53, IAM, S3, and Cost Explorer.
• Administer Linux and Windows servers and troubleshoot VoIP, SIP/H.323, SBCs, IVR, and contact center platforms.
• Provide application and product support for hirify.global SaaS products, including CloudBroker, CEN, Web, and RabbitMQ-based systems.
• Maintain SOPs, root-cause analysis documents, and runbooks while improving monitoring, alerting, and incident workflows.
• Use automation and AI-assisted tools for log analysis, triage recommendations, predictive alerting, AWS cost optimization, and progression toward an SRE model.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in NOC, application support, or infrastructure operations.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure, Linux, Windows Server, networking fundamentals, and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of VoIP and telecom technologies, including SIP, H.323, RTP, SBC management, and Wireshark.
• Experience with Bash, Python, or PowerShell and incident, change, and problem management.
• Availability for 24x7 rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice to have

• AWS Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate, or SysOps certification.
• Docker, ECS/EKS, and CI/CD pipeline experience.
• AIOps or ML-driven operations tools.
• RabbitMQ or Kafka experience.
• Exposure to Terraform, Packer, or Chef.
