Senior Network Operations Engineer (Cisco/Juniper)

Location: Full-time, office-based role at the Gurugram office, India. The role includes working visits to locations under responsibility for partner and vendor meetings and network quality checks.

What you will do

• Design, test, deploy, upgrade, and maintain large-scale global network infrastructure.
• Deliver data center onboarding, Points of Presence deployments, equipment installations, and global network circuits.
• Configure Cisco and Juniper equipment and implement cloud connectivity with AWS, Azure, and Oracle.
• Provide Level 3 escalation support for major network incidents, customer-impacting issues, and NOC troubleshooting.
• Manage network capacity, resilience, risk, procurement, carrier analysis, and infrastructure projects end-to-end.
• Document operational procedures, report on network performance, and mentor junior engineers and operations teams.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with large-scale network deployments and operations, including at least 3 years of similar core network engineering experience in the network services industry.
• Strong knowledge of routing and MPLS technologies, including BGP, IS-IS, MPLS Traffic Engineering, and MPLS L2/L3 VPN.
• Production experience with Juniper and Cisco platforms, data center network infrastructure, fiber-optic technologies, and DWDM environments.
• Familiarity with cloud networking and SDN concepts; experience with Python, Perl, Linux, or similar scripting languages is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, organizational, and customer-focused skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a globally dispersed team, manage competing priorities, and drive operational or service-improvement projects.
