TL;DR
Windows Engineer (AWS/Azure, VMware, PowerShell): Designing, deploying, and operating Windows infrastructure across on-premise environments, IBM Cloud, and AWS with an accent on platform strategy, automation, and incident response. Focus on building OS images and CI/CD pipelines, writing infrastructure automation, and resolving high-severity production incidents.
Location: Hyderabad-Hi-Tec City; fully remote in the US or hybrid in NYC Metro. Collaboration may require work outside core business hours.

What you will do
- Design, deploy, administer, and define the strategy for Windows-based infrastructure.
- Implement and operationalize new technologies across on-premise, IBM Cloud, and AWS environments.
- Prepare project plans, estimates, roadmaps, capacity plans, and performance analytics.
- Build OS images, patch bundles, scripts, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Act as the escalation point for high-severity production incidents and help prevent outages.
- Collaborate with vendors, managed service providers, engineers, managers, business stakeholders, and clients.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a similar Windows infrastructure role.
- 2+ years of experience with AWS or Azure, including EC2, S3, AMI, EBS, IAM, and VPC.
- 5+ years of experience with VMware-based virtualization.
- Strong scripting experience with PowerShell and several of Python, Ruby, or Go.
- Ability to write standard operating procedures, documentation, strategy documents, and roadmaps.
- Clear written and verbal communication with technical and business stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Infrastructure as code and centralized configuration management experience, including Terraform.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience running Windows containers, Active Directory, and Group Policy Objects.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Splunk, or ELK.
- Knowledge of switching, routing, firewalls, IP subnets, and load balancing.
