TL;DR
CNC Machinist (Manufacturing): Setting up and operating CNC lathes, mills, VTLs, and mill-turn machines while loading parts, adjusting tooling, and inspecting machined products with an accent on process control and precision measurement. Focus on making minor program changes, interpreting engineering drawings, and maintaining cutting-tool accuracy across production machining operations.
Location: Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, United States; onsite work with fixed first- and second-shift schedules.
Salary: $25.58–$38.36 per hour; second-shift differential pay of $3 per hour.

What you will do
- Set up and tear down CNC machine tools, including jaws, fixtures, and tooling.
- Download machining programs and make minor program changes to improve processes.
- Load and unload parts from CNC lathes, mills, VTLs, and mill-turn machines.
- Monitor cutting tools, adjust machine offsets, and index or replace inserts.
- Inspect in-process and finished products using micrometers, calipers, Pi tapes, height gauges, depth gauges, and related instruments.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area while operating hand tools, pallet jacks, and jib cranes.
Requirements
- Machining experience with horizontal or vertical lathes, mills, or mill-turn machines.
- Ability to read engineering routings, process drawings, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and shop routing.
- Ability to identify dull cutting tools and determine when to change or index them.
- Good working knowledge of mathematics and basic trigonometry.
- Ability to follow complex written and verbal instructions.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Nice to have
- Extensive production or manufacturing experience.
- Familiarity with 5-axis machining.
- Technical degree or certification.
- Tool design experience.
- Experience programming and operating high-accuracy measurement and instrumentation systems.
