Manager, Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting

Location: 5 days onsite in Downtown Los Angeles, California, United States

What you will do

• Prepare and oversee consolidated annual and quarterly financial statements for lenders, executive leadership, and other stakeholders.
• Draft and review audited financial statements and disclosures in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Research new accounting standards and assess complex transactions, including acquisitions, leases, and revenue arrangements.
• Prepare technical accounting memoranda and lead the annual external audit as the primary auditor liaison.
• Manage quarterly certification processes in Workiva and review global monthly close submissions for GAAP and corporate policy compliance.
• Provide accounting training to regional teams and partner cross-functionally to improve platforms, planning, and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6–8+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including financial reporting and technical accounting.
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation.
• Experience coordinating with external auditors.
• Experience with multinational operations and ERP tools.
• Ability to work onsite five days per week in Downtown Los Angeles.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Public accounting experience at a Big Four or national firm.
• Workiva experience.
