Finance & Accounting Manager

Location: Chicago, United States; full-time onsite role.

Salary: $102,800–$176,000 annually, plus eligibility for a discretionary performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Lead and support consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and prepare accurate internal and external financial statements.
• Manage accounting operations for domestic and international subsidiaries, including statutory and management reporting.
• Oversee the Workday ERP, general ledger, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, financial analysis, and internal controls.
• Research and implement accounting policies covering revenue recognition, lease accounting, asset impairment, reserves, and internally developed software.
• Support internal and external audits, system implementations, process improvements, treasury activities, and cash flow forecasting.
• Coach and supervise approximately 2–3 people globally while coordinating responsibilities across the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of progressive Finance and Accounting experience, including at least 2 years leading and managing teams.
• Strong technical accounting, financial analysis, problem-solving, organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn, implement, and train others on accounting systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously, lead teams, and collaborate with senior leadership.
• Work location: Chicago, United States; the position is full-time and onsite.
