Manager, Accounting (Robotics)

Location: Hybrid, based out of the Fremont, California office with 3+ days per week on site. All roles are U.S.-based, and applicants must have current authorization to work in the United States.

Salary: $134,000–$174,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead, develop, and retain the general accounting team through hiring, coaching, performance management, and career development.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Oversee the general ledger, chart of accounts, financial reporting structure, and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Develop and improve accounting policies, procedures, internal controls, and financial governance in a SOX-compliant environment.
• Lead ERP implementation, system optimization, process improvements, external audits, and related statutory reporting activities.
• Analyze financial results and communicate variances, insights, and recommendations to accounting and finance leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA license in good standing.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3–5 years in team leadership, supervision, or people management.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, technical accounting, internal controls, and SOX-compliant or public-company environments.
• Experience leading financial close processes, managing external financial statement audits, and working with ERP implementations or major enhancements.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and collaborate cross-functionally.
