Operations Supervisor 1st Shift, Manufacturing

Location: Roseburg, Oregon, USA; first shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Hiring salary range: $65,224-$82,466 per year.

What you will do

• Supervise associates across assigned manufacturing departments and provide resources to maximize throughput and minimize waste.
• Monitor quality standards, productivity, attendance, records, performance evaluations, and associate advancement or disciplinary recommendations.
• Track department processing against turnaround-time schedules and production goals.
• Audit productivity and quality, identify root causes of performance gaps, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare operational pass-downs and coordinate shift crossovers with incoming management.
• Collaborate with Quality Services and senior management to maintain service levels and accurate order processing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing environment, or comparable management experience.
• Ability to manage a diverse workforce and foster an inclusive environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to support quality, safety, and operational performance standards.

Nice to have

• Experience applying lean principles and continuous improvement methods.
• Experience driving safety culture improvements and Kaizen initiatives.
