Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Services (Java)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build clean, efficient, well-tested software following established engineering practices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and engineers to deliver end-to-end features.
• Integrate databases and external services while ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and application deployment in cloud and local environments.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and debugging practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Experience building private cloud workflows.
• Understanding of distributed systems and scalable architecture.
