Location: Hybrid, with an average requirement of two days per week from an HPE office; US locations and salary bands are specified.

Salary: Annual base salary of USD 160,000–303,000 in Colorado, USD 172,000–328,000 in Massachusetts, USD 172,000–349,000 in California, and USD 152,000–349,000 in North Carolina and Texas.

What you will do

• Design and develop reliable, cost-effective, high-quality cloud solutions for systems and subsystems.
• Identify emerging technology and create integration and architecture update plans.
• Review designs and project activities against development standards to improve product quality and reduce failure risk.
• Analyze complex application, system administration, network, engineering, and business data-processing problems.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge sharing across cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
• Typically 10–15 years of professional experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Golang, or JavaScript.
• Deep expertise in software systems design, development methodologies, and integration across diverse platforms.
• Proficiency in cloud security concepts, including identity and access management, firewalls, VPNs, and in-plane switching systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present architectures and negotiate technical options with executives.
