Receiving Inspection Technician (Manufacturing Quality)

What you will do

• Lead problem-solving activities for products and manufacturing processes with support from a Quality Engineer.
• Perform process validations, in-process inspections, and quality monitoring for manufacturing processes and products.
• Collect and analyze data, review products, assess process capabilities, and support design, manufacturing, and quality engineering functions.
• Record inspection results in ERP, quality management software, and inspection logs.
• Create non-conforming material reports with photographic evidence and initiate material review processes.
• Work with suppliers and internal departments on non-conformances, corrective actions, measurement, and calibration activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of experience in quality or manufacturing.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, process documents, order requirements, quotes, and drawings.
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and paint mil gauges.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, ISO procedures, root-cause analysis, and corrective recommendations.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with attention to detail and task prioritization.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of GD&T.
• Understanding of air-conditioning equipment operation.
• Experience with JD Edwards ERP.
