Quality Inspector III (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at the manufacturing facility in Franklin, New Hampshire, Monday–Friday

What you will do

• Perform advanced inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods against specifications, drawings, control plans, and standard work.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements to make accurate acceptance and rejection decisions.
• Identify, document, contain, and disposition nonconforming material while communicating quality risks to stakeholders.
• Maintain complete, traceable, and audit-ready inspection records in accordance with company procedures and ISO requirements.
• Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, inspection-data analysis, and validation of corrective-action effectiveness.
• Provide technical guidance to Quality Inspector I and II personnel and participate in Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is preferred.
• At least 6 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment with increasing responsibility.
• Advanced ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
• Proficiency with precision measuring and inspection equipment.
• Strong understanding of nonconformance control, inspection records, audit expectations, and quality documentation.
• Ability to mentor inspectors and reinforce quality and environmental compliance.

Nice to have

• Experience in an ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001 certified manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting internal and external audits.
• Familiarity with SPC, data analysis, and problem-solving methodologies.
