Quality Assurance Receiving Inspector (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Perform receiving inspections of raw materials, machined parts, assemblies, and special processes.
• Verify compliance with engineering drawings, purchase orders, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Review certifications, test reports, and supplier documentation.
• Identify and document non-conforming materials and support corrective actions.
• Work with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain inspection records and support continuous improvement within the quality organization.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent GED with 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience, or a Bachelor of Science in engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Ability to read and understand aerospace drawings.
• Strong understanding of receiving inspection methods and processes, including experience with measurement tools and inspection equipment.
• Familiarity with AS9100 quality management systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Supplier quality, process improvement, or process development experience.
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM equipment.
• Understanding of GD&T.
• ASQ certification such as CQE or CQA.
