Senior Sales Consultant (Spine)

Location: Louisville, Kentucky, United States; residence in or ability to relocate to the posted territory required

What you will do

• Identify prospective surgeons and healthcare accounts, then develop account-specific sales plans.
• Achieve sales goals and grow product sales across the assigned Louisville territory.
• Present, demonstrate, and support the proper utilization of spinal surgery products.
• Build relationships with surgeons, operating-room personnel, buyers, and hospital stakeholders.
• Provide support during surgical cases and deliver in-services and workshops for clinical personnel.
• Manage inventory, promotional equipment, product mix, strategic initiatives, and competitive threats.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of professional or related experience; or an associate degree/medical certification and 5 years of experience; or 8 years of professional or related experience.
• Valid driver’s license issued in the United States required.
• Ability to work in a laboratory and operating-room environment and travel, including possible weekend or overnight travel.
• Strong interpersonal communication, influencing, critical-thinking, problem-solving, prioritization, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently in complex environments, with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Functional knowledge of human anatomy and physiology and basic knowledge of surgery.

• Strong technical knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions.
