Operations Supervisor - Manufacturing (Nights)

Location: Jackson, Tennessee, United States; onsite night shift

Salary: $65,224–$82,466 per year

What you will do

• Supervise associates across assigned manufacturing departments and provide resources to maximize throughput and minimize waste.
• Monitor production processing against turnaround-time schedules, production goals, and quality standards.
• Manage attendance records, performance evaluations, advancement recommendations, and disciplinary procedures.
• Audit individual productivity and quality, identify root causes of failures, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare shift pass-downs and communicate operational issues that may affect service levels to incoming management and senior management.
• Coordinate with Quality Services to maintain accurate and complete order processing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing environment, or comparable management experience.
• Availability for the D shift: Wednesday–Friday, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., plus every other Saturday, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
• Ability to manage a diverse workforce and work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Nice to have

• Experience applying lean principles and continuous improvement methods.
• Experience driving safety-culture improvements and Kaizen initiatives.
