ServiceNow Lead Technical Consultant (ITAM)

Location: Virginia, United States

Base pay: $140,000–$165,000 per year plus incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead the technical delivery of ServiceNow implementation projects in a client consulting environment.
• Design and deliver ServiceNow solutions based on business requirements, process design, technical architecture, and platform best practices.
• Guide developers and act as the technical lead on implementation project teams.
• Support workshops by gathering and sizing agile user stories, epics, and features.
• Develop custom App Engine applications and client-specific reporting, including Performance Analytics.
• Create technical deliverables, improve implementation methodologies, and maintain ServiceNow technical standards.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of ServiceNow implementation experience in a client consulting environment.
• At least 8 years of experience as a key technical resource leading solution development in client environments.
• Experience in technical leadership and client-facing consulting roles.
• Proficiency with JavaScript and modern web technologies including Angular, jQuery, Bootstrap, React, Node, and NPM.
• Proficiency with Agile project management and delivery methodologies.
• ServiceNow Administrator or Implementation Specialist certification, such as CIS-SAM, CIS-HAM, CIS-ITSM, CSA, or CAD.

Nice to have

• Traditional software engineering experience with Java, C#, or C++.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.
