Lead Technology Strategist (AI)

Location: Ideally based in the Chicago area, with remote locations across the U.S. permitted. Travel up to 15% of the time is required.

Salary: $125,000–$190,000 per year, with potential additional earnings through incentive programs such as annual bonuses and profit sharing.

What you will do

• Develop technology strategy across AI, emerging technologies, marketing technology, CMS, CRM, ERP, web, mobile, and experience platforms.
• Lead comprehensive assessments of client technology ecosystems and identify opportunities to optimize or transform customer, employee, and user experiences.
• Partner with CX/EX, UX, Brand, Content, and Data specialists to shape cross-functional experience solutions.
• Facilitate strategic technology workshops and create proof-of-concept and implementation roadmaps, including impact and dependency analysis.
• Guide the responsible integration of AI into strategy, design, analysis, workflows, and project delivery.
• Mentor junior strategists, support proposals and thought leadership, and manage multiple strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• 8 or more years of enterprise technology experience in technology strategy, solution architecture and design, digital transformation leadership, and emerging technology integration.
• 5 or more years of consulting experience, including strategic planning, workshop facilitation, client relationship management, cross-functional leadership, and technology advisory.
• Deep understanding of marketing technology platforms, web and mobile technologies, front-end and back-end frameworks, and emerging technologies including AI.
• Experience applying human-centered design practices and principles.
• Demonstrated success delivering client engagements and technology transformations.
• Strong communication, collaboration, business insight, adaptability, and innovation skills.
