Mental Health Clinical Faculty (Part-Time): Orlando, FL

Location: Onsite in an inpatient clinical setting in the Orlando area, Florida, USA. The schedule most commonly consists of 12-hour rotations from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for three to four consecutive days.

Compensation: $560–$7,245 per assignment, depending on the course credit hours assigned.

What you will do

• Teach mental-health nursing in the BSN program through clinical instruction and supervised course content delivery.
• Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision while students deliver nursing care.
• Evaluate student performance against course objectives and provide documented feedback.
• Develop clinical assignments aligned with students’ knowledge, competencies, and learning needs.
• Grade written work and support student remediation when needed.
• Coordinate with clinical agencies, course coordinators, and academic leadership regarding student and agency issues.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in Florida.
• At least two years of recent professional registered-nurse experience within the last five years in the area of instruction.
• An Illinois RN license is required to teach all courses; assignments are prioritized for professors currently licensed in Illinois.
• Strong nursing subject-matter expertise and written and verbal communication skills.
• Teaching or precepting experience is preferred but not required.
